It’s with mixed emotion that I announce we are shutting down LULORA.
Crazy to think it was nearly 6 years ago that a few passionate friends began this business.
Chalk full of green juice and superfoods we were inspired by our own health transformations and set out to share the many lifestyle changes we attributed to our success.
LULORA was born out of this desire to share.
It all began in the living room of Big Blue, a communal Vancouver house, where we dreamed up the 'Case Study’ program.
Here, willing friends underwent a 3 month, live-in, lifestyle overhaul, that involved rigorous changes in diet, movement, mindfulness, sleep, detoxification and stress management.
As our participants blogged about their experience we presented real world accounts of the changes that can occur as a result.
As this brand of health developed traction with our friends and family we began considering how these lifestyle changes might serve as a business.
Soon our team was developing digital courses that would offer the same step by step lifestyle change that our case study participants enjoyed (or endured!)
This was an exciting time – from a few local fans we soon found ourselves engaging thousands online.
To date our online programs have reached over 40,000 people while our 14-Day Detox App topped the charts in both the US & Canada.
As we developed these programs our team and supporters grew in step: I am seriously fortunate (and exceedingly grateful) to have had the expertise and support of the folks at Organic Lives, The YMCA, Junction, my Family, Christina, Jeremie, Simon, Jaymee, Almu, Josh, Erika, Caroline, Amber, Natalie, Kristine, Sarah and everyone else who has ever supported LULORA.
After a few years of working long hours in front of the computer I’ve made the decision to close down LULORA - Oddly enough because I believe it is impacting my health!
With reduced screen time, the intention is to now spend more time in nature, continue my education and begin coaching personal clients.
